Secrets of the Open-Heart State

Love and the heart chakra are often associated with one another. Keeping your heart open as much as possible has numerous benefits.

This does not imply a constant state of overflowing bliss and oneness – instead, it implies flowing with life rather than against it.

Just ensuring you are not doing anything as a response to some fear-based energy will keep you in the flow. You may encounter some blocks that are bigger than others but you just have to stay strong through it, knowing that it too shall pass. The moment you unconsciously react to fear – you create karma.

Upgrading the nervous system can also be an important part of removing blockages so that life force energy starts flowing more freely within you. There are many modalities to achieve this including yoga, tai chi, meditation, etc. It may require some experimentation to see what resonates the most with you.

Take action only when your heart is open – it’ll make sure that you don’t create unnecessary karma. This advice applies more to people with predominantly “yang” energy since they have a propensity towards more action to avoid fear.

For those with more of a propensity towards “yin” energy, it makes more sense to take some action – any action – even if it is not aligned, to get them out of their funk. This is because they usually tend to freeze in the face of fear. Trust that aligned cues will follow eventually.

Eat only when your heart is open – it’ll keep you at the body weight that is ideal for you. A lot of people have the tendency to eat as a means to feel some relief (a.k.a. stress eating). While we are human and a little bit of that is completely ok, when that becomes a habit is when it becomes a problem.

Having an open heart also eventually allows a lot of karma and information integration. This could possibly be due to the opening of the third eye chakra. The answers you need will come to you from within, you do not have to look to outside information to feel better.

This is also the state from which relationships and life situations work out effortlessly. You don’t constantly need to THINK about what to do. Rather, you just do what is necessary when it is necessary. You realize that life is living you and you give up the need to be a separate entity that needs to control life. You surrender to the dance, the flow of life since that is all you want.
